Mt.Angel Nuptials Attractive Event
Mt Angel-In one of the most beautiful and impressive wedding ceremonies hel in 
Mt.Angel for a long time,Miss Helen Ebner,daughter of mr.and Mrs. 
J.W.Ebner,pioneers of this community,Wednesday became the bride of J.Urban 
Schmitz of Camas,Washington,son of Mr.and Mrs.Peter Schmitz of Sweet Home.
The Rev.Father Berchtold,pastor of St.Mary's church,officiated,assisted by 
Father Phillip,O.S.B.,and  Father Raphael,O.S.B., as deacon and sub deacon and 
Father Adelhelm,O.S.B.,as master of ceremonies.
Miss Genevieve Schmitz,sister of the bridegroom,was bridesmaid,and Miss marie 
Ebner,cousin of the bride .maid of honor,Theodore Schmitz of Sweet Home was 
best man.
Following the ceremony a wedding dinner was held at the Mount Angel Hotel 
dining room.The newly married couple then left on a honeymoon trip to 
California,after which they will be at home to friends at their home in 
Portland.

Additional Comments:
The letters O.S.B. stands for Order of St.Benedicts. There is a monastery iin 
Mt Angel that follows the Benedictine beliefs
