Honorable Solomon Hirsch, younger brother to Honorable Edward Hirsch. (born in 
Hohebach, Wurttemberg, Germany March 25, 1839, died Dec 15, 1902)
Solomon Hirsch is elected and twice re-elected to the Oregon State Senate and
ends his career as the U.S. Minister to Turkey in 1889.  He was President of 
the Oregon Senate during that time.  He lived and owned businesses in 
Portland, Oregon.  I have more biographical information on him if you are 
interested.
