Brown was taken to St. Elizabeth hospital late Thursday, unconscious. An unidentified man, who said he lived with Brown in the Harbor hotel at Portland Ore., disappeared after taking him to the hospital. He said Brown had fainted and then gone into convulsions. He said he would return to the hospital but so far no trace of him has been found. Dr. F. J. Lemon, county coroner, reported that the autopsy disclosed Brown had suffered a severe skull fracture and brain hemorrhage, and that this was the cause of death. He declared that it has not been determined if the man suffered the injuries from a blow on the head, or from some accident, such as a fall. Efforts are being made to contact friends or relatives of the man here and in Portland.
