Left Alone By Its Mother at Ashland for Only A Few Minutes
Ashland,Or.,Sept.10-(Special)- The little 2 year old son of Mr.and Mrs.James 
Cross,residents of this city,was drowned in a tub of water at the family home 
on Liberty Street today.The mother had drawn a tub of water and left it 
sitting on the back porch,where the little one was playing,and had gone into 
the house for only a few minutes.When she returned the little child was in the 
bottom of the tub and lifeless,all efforts to resuscitate it proving fruitless.
