Governor McBride Declines To Interfere on Behalf of Murderer.
Olympia,Wash.,Sept.1-(Special)- Govnor McBride,after giving formal hearing to 
a petition for the commutation of the sentence of Charles Clark,sentenced to 
be hung tomorrow,declined to interfere wiht the execution.Clark murdered his 
mistress,Lelia Page,in this city,January 19,1903,crushing her skull with an ax 
as she lay asleep.
