The engagemnet of Miss Alice Lobe,of San Fransisco,to Mr. B.J.Barnett,a 
prominent musician and composer of that city,is announced.Miss Lobe is a 
duahgter of A.Lobe,formerly of this city,and had many friends here.

The engagement is announced of Miss Laura Berges and D.J.Malarkey
