H. Kistler, 470 Taggert street, with a family reunion. They were married at Danville, Ill., and came to Portland in 1885. Mr. Older is a veteran of the Civil War, having served as a member of Company K, 135th Illinois Infantry. He is past commander of Sumner Post, No. 12, Grand Army of the Republic, and Mrs. Older is a past president of Sumner Women’s Relief Corps, a charter member of the corps and past department treasurer of the state. Mr. Older is 79 and Mrs. Older 71 years of age. There are four children - Samuel, William. Louis, George Older and Mrs. J.H. Kistler. Mr. and Mrs. Older received many felicitations from members of the Grand Army of the Republic and Women’s Relief Corp of the city. Additional Comments: Picture was with article of Mr. and Mrs. Older.
