The body was brought through here from Woodstock,where services were held on Monday and taken to the Methodist Church at Pleasant Home for the final obsequies.The deceased was born a stones throw of the place of his internment and was widely known throughout this section.Several hundred persons,nearly all of whom were friends and acquaintance of the deceased's family,were present to pay their last respectsto his memory.Rev.M.L.Hardingham conducted the services at the grave. Many beautiful floral emblems were contributed by the people of the neighborhood,and excellent music was volunteered by a local choir as a last tribute to one whom they had known and respected during all his life.
