Games,Music, and refreshments were the features of the evening.Pinning on the donkeys trail created much amusement, but the most enjoyable feature was a vocal solo by Mrs. A.J.Magooh. The first prizes were won by Miss Andrus and Mrs.Gates, and the boobies by Mr.Lakin and D.Pohl. Miss Andrus will hereafter reside at Portsmouth with her grandmother,Mrs.M.J.Hamilton, who has recently moved from the Cascades to her handsome new home at that place. Mrs.Hamilton is one of our earliest pioneers, having lived at her former home since Portland was a hamlet.
