The Oregonian April 25, 1893
George Morey, who was convicted of the nurder of Gus Barry, field a motion for 
a new trial yesterday. He takes several exceptions, the most importnat of 
which is one asserting that Charles H.Gove, a member of the jury, was 
insane.Gove, it will be remembered, shot and fatally wounded Conrad J.Smith 
and then committed suicide.
