Last spring Barrett asked the County Court to compel his sister to support him, alleging that he could not work, was without means of support, and was forced to sleep on the ground or in basements, and had to subsist wholly on charity. Attorney C.H.Piggott,poet,dreamer,and lawyer, made a moving appeal for his client,Barrett. It is likely that no appeal will be taken from the decision of the County Court to the Circuit Court.
