The jury in the United States court yesterday brought in a verdict for $20,000 
against the well known capitalist and politician, John H.Stone. Stone was 
first indicted on 28 indictments for taking timber from government land, and 
tried in the United States court at Boise City. He won on nine indictments and 
the remainder were then dismissed. The government begun civil suit here for 
$240,000 damages. The case has been on trial all week.
