Mr.and mrs. William Talleford Leave For Parts Unknown
The 2 1/2 year old son of Mr. and Mrs. William Talleford has been deserted by 
his parents,whose present whereabouts are unknown. Talleford is a bartender 
and his wife a ariety actress. About two weeks ago the pair announced that 
they were going to Seattle for a short time,where Mrs.Talleford was to appear 
in vaudeville,and they left the child with Mrs. S.V, Law, of 264 Fourth 
street,until their return.
At the end of the two weeks the Tallefords did not return,and search disclosed 
the fact that they had gone from Seattle to points unknown and had deserted 
their offspring. The case appeared to be a deliberate attempt on the part of 
the parents to be rid of the child,who is a bright little fellow. The child 
was yesterday turned over to the Boys' and Girls' Aid Society.
