It was not a case of drunkenness on her part. She was just angry, and all because her husband was paying attention, so she says, to a waitress in the restaurant. She claims that she saw him come out of a lodging house with the waitress on his arm, and go to the restaurant. She followed and then began the fun. She smashed chairs, dishes and nearly everything else destructible, and had made almost a complete wreck of the place when Officer Backstrom took her in charge. In the afternoon she was released on bail, and will appear for trial in the police court today. She admits having trouble with her husband, and says that once she fired several shots at him in Texas.
