It was claimed by Martin that Dr.Fisher agreed to give him $50 when the lot was sold. The owner sold the lot himself and Martin has nothing to do with it. Martin commenced suit in Justice McCulloch's court and the time was set for the hearing, but the plaintiff did not appear. The case was afterwards tried in McDevitt's court on the West side and the jury did not agree.. It was to have been tried yesterday and the attorneys were present, but Martin was not there, and his own attorney moved to dismiss. Dr.Fisher says that he expects the case will be brought in all the justice courts in the city before it is finished.
