The Oregonian September 18, 1904
Mrs.L.C.Henrys,residing at 768 East Yamhill street,field captain of Mount Hood 
Circle Team,which has the honor of winning the first cash prize in a 
competitive drill on Woodman's Day at the Salem fair,was the recipient of a 
pleasant surprise party from her team on Thursday evening. A very pleasant 
evenign was spent with games and music.After a dainty supper all departed to 
catch the last car.
