A reception was given Tuesday evening at the home of Captain and Mrs. Walton,in compliment to their guests.Mr. and Mrs. B.W.Stone,of San Fransisco. A meeting at the hop committee was held MOnday night and the following officers were elected as members fo the social committee for the next seson: Major George B.Davis,Captain George Helms,Lieutenant C.W.Tittiston,Leiutenant Frederick Terrill. The Golf Club held a meeting during the week,and Lieutenant Burton J.Mitchell tendered his resignation as president. Lieutenant Ruben C.Taylor was elected to hold the office during the next seasoon.Golf at th epost has made great strides,and a number of players are the result of the earnest practice and enthusiastic interest taken in the sport.
