Morning Oregonian August 3, 1904
An answer to the divorce suit of Minnie Van Houten against David G.Van Houten 
was filed in the State Circuit Court yesterday by W.T.Vaughn,Van Houten's 
attorney.The answer makes general denial of the allegations of the 
complaint,and in addition charges Mrs.Van Houten with adultery with Al 
Young,who was killed by Van Houten last Autumn and for whose murder Van Houten 
was tried and acquitted.
