The accident ocurred on January 27,1903,on Glisan street near Fourth. A trapdoor in the sidewalk was open,and Hellem fell into the open space. The defendants contended that his injuries were slight,if any. The instructions of Judge Cleland tot he jury favored the defendants. A sealed verdict was ordered.
