Archbishop Christie,assisted by A.M. Lorimier and J.O'Harrell,in the morning celebrated mass. Before receiving the holy communion,the young novice pronounced the usual vows of chastity and obedince,and also a vow that binds her to devote herslf to the care of the sck,poor and ignorant.The archibishop delivered a short and impressive sermon appropriate to the occassion.The large chapel in the building was well filled with the friends of the younf woman who entered on a reilgious life, and inmates of the Home and many young women from the Mercy Homes.The altar decorations were very beautiful,while the choir rendered a programme of solemn music.
