For a period he was stationed at Vancouver Barracks,in which town he was married,27 years ago,to Miss Ella Quigley,who survives him,along with two married daughters,Mrs.Harry Linley, and Mrs.Ed Wyncoop.Mr.Damphoffer has played for 20 years in nearly every theater orchestra in Portland,where he was much esteemed for his many good qualities.The funeral will take place at 9 o'clock tomorrow morning from Finlay & Son's undertaking parlors,Third and Madison streets.
