Mr.Fisher had been in poor health for the past year,and although those who knew him best were worried over his condition,yet no great alarm was felt. The telegram announcing his sudden death by paralysis of the brain was a severe blow to his wife and friends. Mr.Fisher had been a resident of Portland for nearly 15 years and had resided at 165 East Thirty third street.He was a man of earnest endeavor,a true and loyal friends and bore the respect of all who knew him.His funeral was held at the family residence at 3 P.M. Sunday,Rev.W.H.Selleck officiating,under the auspices of the Woodmen of the World,of which order he was a prominent member.The internment was in the family lot in Lone Fir Cemetery.
