Henry wasonly 17 years of age, but was an expert in controlling floating logs, Henry was standing on two logs, which speerated, and his companiions on shore saw hm fall between them. he wasin the middle of the pool above the dam, 60 feet from either shore, and wa sunable ot swim. W.C. Freeman plunged into the icy water to go to the rescue, but was seized with cramps and rescued with difficulty. Three hours after the drowning the body was found with the hands grasping a snag at the bottom of the stream in a death grip. Henry was the brother of Carl Henry, oe of the owners of the mill, and well known throughout the vicinity.
