Mr. Leaman was 54 years of age, and had lived in Portland since 1882, spending 20 years in Sellwood, where he came as one of the first settlers in that suburb. He has been identified with the growth of the place, and was a member of Sellwood Lodge, A.O.U.W. Mr. Leaman had been a prominent building contractor in Portland for the past 22 years building several of the Government lighthouses on this Coast. A wife and four children survive. Funeral services will be held tomorrow at the Episcopal Church.
