B. McIntire, aged 77 years. The deceased was a member of Lincoln Garfield Post No.3, G.A.R. Funeral notice hereafter. Morning Oregonian November 24, 1904 Comrade McIntire Will Be Missed - William T. B. McInitire, a veteran of the Civil War and a member of Lincoln-Garfield Post No.3, died at his home in Woodlawn Tuesday. He was 78 years of age. Mr. McIntire had been post commander of this post. During the rebellion he was a member of Company B, Forty-second Indiana Infantry, and had a creditable record. He had been a familiar figure at campfires, and his comrades will greatly miss him. McIntire, which will be held at Finley's chapel at 10 a.m. Friday, November 25. Internment, G.A.R. plot, Greenwood Cemetery. Mornign Oregonian November 26, 1904 Buried By His Surviving Comrades - The funeral of William B. T. McIntire, who died at his home in Woodlawn, was held yesterday forenoon, and the internment was in G.A.R. Cemetery, under the auspices of Lincoln Garfield Post, of which he was a past post commander.
