Morning Oregonian November 5, 1904

Eugene, Or., Nov. 4 - Robert Mills, an old resident of the lower Suislaw country, died at his home on South Slough, October 30, from paralysis.  The deceased had been a highly respected citizen in the neighborhood in which he resided for 22 years.  He was a veteran of the Civil War, having served three years in the Ninety Second Illinois Infantry.
