Morning Oregonian September 6, 1904

Clatskanie, Or., Sept.5 - (Special) - A. H.Murray, a pioneer of this place, died here today.  Mr. Murray was born in Scotland ,April 16,1826 and when 5 years old was brought to Canada,  In 1852 he crossed the plains, coming to Oregon, and settled in Clatskanie in 1868.

Alexander H. Murray was buried in Maplewood Cemetery, Clatskanie, Columbia County, Oregon, USA
