Mrs.Newett has had quite a varied experience,her name several times having appeared in court matters.For a long time she conducted a saloon and ldoging house on the East Side,which did not bear a very good reputation.She was the mother of the notoriuos "Tough Buckley",and at one time motgaged all er property in odrer to raise money with which to defend him in a criminal case.She has some daughters also,who have served terms in jail for petty offenses.
