Dropped Dead At His Work
Independence,or.,March 31-D.P.Penrose,an employee in the lumber yard of 
Prescott & Veness,ropped dead while at his work this morning at 11 o'clock,he 
was talking in the engine room a few minutes before in apparnet good health.He 
was first seen among the lumber lying on his back,and after being picked up 
gave agasp,and never again brteathed.The cause of death is not known.The 
deeaed leaves a widow and five children living here.
