Mrs.Carrie M.Roach,wife of Mr.B.H.Roach,died of dropsy,in Portland,on December 
12,at 12:30 P.M. Mrs.Roach,who was the second daughter of the late George 
Humphrey,of Eugene City,who died several years since,and a sister of our 
fellow-townsman,James Humphrey,was 48 years,and 5 months old,and leaves 
besides her husband,three children.Firends of the family are invited to attend 
the funeral,which take splace fro her late residence,corner of Twelth and 
Market streets on Wednesday,ay 10:30 A.M..the internment will be at Riverview 
cemetary.
