Mrs. Magdalena Rothfos. Mrs. Magdalena Rothfos, who died recently, was the widow of the late Henry Rothfos, hotel man and business man of this city. Organic heart trouble brought death suddenly to Mrs. Rothfos. Rev. A. A. Morrison, of Trinity Church, officiated at the funeral services, which were held from the parlors of J. P. Finley & Sons. Interment was in Greenwood Cemetery. Members of the Rothfos family were among the earliest subscribers of The Oregonian. Surviving Mrs. Rothfos, who resided at 610 Elliott avenue, were a son, J. B. Rothfos; two daughters, Mrs. H. W. Ross, of California, and Miss Marie Rothfos, of this city; a brother, Edward Grothjan, of Alaska, and two sisters, Louise Grothjan and Francesca Grothjan, both of Portland.
