Morning Oregonian November 6,1904
Funeral of A Veteran-The funeral of Jasper Seybold,a veteran of the Civil 
War.took place yesterday from the home of his son,Amos Seybold,on West 
avenue,North Mount Tabor,and the internment was in Lone Fir Cemetary.At the 
cemetary the rites of the G.A.R. were performed by members of the Ben Butler 
and Summ Posts.Mr.Seybold was 64 years old and had been a member of McKusker 
Post No. 210,Springfield.During the war he was a member of Company D,Fifty 
second Indiana Infantry,and served for three years.
