John W.Simpson's Death-John W.Simpson,who for some years has been claims clerk 
of the Union Pacific railway statio of this city,died on Wednesday morning of 
consumption.Mr.Simpson had a host of friends who will be pained to hear of his 
death.he was an honored member of Harmony lodge,A.F.&A.M.;Industry lodge 
No.8.A.O.U.W., and Portland camp,No.1o7,Woodmen of the World.The funeral 
services will be held at Trinity church this afternoon at 2 P.M.
