Morning Oregonian September 6,1905
Cottage Grove,Or.,Sept.5-(Speial)- Mrs.Nancy Stewart,aged 72 years,died 
yesterday and was buried today. With her husband,E.D.Stewart,who died many 
years ago,they cossed the plains in 1850 and settled in this vicinity. One 
son,Blake Stewart,and two brothers,D.G. and James McFarland,are living 
here.Three sisters,Mrs.Yarnell,of Mohawk,Mrs.McCartney and Mrs. Underwood,of 
Boise,survive her.
