First Fatality on the Bull Run Line
Gresham,Or,March 17- At the head works of the Bull Run pipe line yesterday a 
laborer named Sweet was instantly killed by falling rocks,caused by a heavy 
blast. The proper precaution to take the necessary distance when firing had 
not been observed, and the man paid the penalty with his life. Several  other 
close calls were noted,but without fatal results.
