Former Needy Boy Dies at La Junta,Colorado
Word has reached Canby that Dr William F Todd,who for a long time lived in 
Portland,and was afterward connected with the Sante fe Hosptial at Sante 
Fe,new mexico,died at La Junta,Colorado,on Thursda,December 27;his death 
following an operation for appendicitis.
Dr Todd was born near Needy,Clackamas County,34 years ago.Fifteen years ago he 
went to Portland,where he took up residence with the Sante Fe Hospital at 
Sante Fe,New mexico.He has been two years a member of the medical staff of 
that institution.
Dr Todd is surviced by his widow,Isabel Todd,and small daughter,Gloria,who 
were at his bedside when he died.Other survivors are his mother,Mrs Andrew 
Todd,of Portland;his sisters,mrs Edith Jones and Miss Nellie Todd,of 
Portland;Mrs Eva L Kidwell and Mrs Violet Mason,of Oakland,California;and two 
brothers,Arthur J.,of Ventura,Cal.,and Dorian E Todd of Los Angeles,Cal.Dr 
Todd's father,Andrew Todd died many years ago,while the family was residing 
near Needy
