Morning Oregonian September 10,1904
Mrs.L.M.F.Benedict testified that Lafayette W.Benedict treated her in a cruel 
and inhuman manner.This consisted of calleinig her vile names and of personal 
violence.The Benedicts were married 23 years ago in this city,and have one 
minor child,which was awarded to the custody fo the mother.A decree in her 
favor was granted.
