Morning Oregonian October 5,1904
Lloyd H.French, who was united in marriage to Cora E. French on November 
12,1901, has field suit against her in the State Curcuit Court to have the 
marriage declared void for the reason that only three months previous to the 
union she ws granted a divorcein the Supeior Court at Vancouver,Wash, from 
Edward T.Lyons. She ws married to Lyons in Sellwood in january,1900. The 
statutes of Washington forbid the marriage of a divorced person with a third 
party within six months of the date of the decree,whether it takes place wihni 
or without the state. Persons who violate this law are subject to punishment 
for contempt of court.
