Kopper testified that his wife lef thim in November,1902, and he tried to induce her to return and live with him, and she refused. The issue of the union is a dughter 3 years old, who is in the custody of mr.Millie Shumway, th emother of the defendant. Kopper contribute to the child's support. The parties were married at PLeasant Home,August 5,1900. Mrs.S.E.Long was divored by Judge Frazer, on account of cruelty, from her husband,J.W.Long, to whom she was married at Vancouver,Wash., Mrs.Long testified that he kicked her,knocked her down,called her a thief,threatened to kill her, and starved her. Because of desertion beginning in September,1902, Helen Macomber was grnated a decree dissolving the bonds of matrimony between her and Fred Macomber. They were married in Wisonsin in 1892. Macomber's last place of residence was Aberdeen. The suit of Fred W. Scheurer, a clerk in a warehouse at Butteville, against Anna M.Scheurer for a divorce was heard and taken under advisement. They were married in 1898. The evidence submitted by the plaintiff was principally that is wife called him vile names.
