A the residence of the bride's parents,East Ash and Eighteenth streets, Miss Emily B.Cauthorn,daughter of the well known surgeon,Dr.Frank Cauthorn,was married to Mr.Edward J.Craig,of La Camanae,Mexico. Miss Cauthorn is a native Oregonian and is very accomplished and attractive. Mr.Craig is a Stanford University man and has been a newspaper correspondent in Alaska and South Africa. For the last three years he has been assistant purhcasing agent for the Cananea Consolidated Copper Company,of La Cananea,Mexico. the guests were received by Dr,and Mrs.Cauthorn,asisted ny Mrs.Rose Jeffreys. The ceremony was performed by Rev.C.E.Cline,the service of the Methodist Church being used. The bride and groom came down the winding stairs of Dr.Cauthorn's residence through a bower of ferns, palms,evergreens,and roses,precedd by Mr.Maurice Goodman and Miss Esther Purdy,as mendelsohhn's wedding march was being played.The ceremony was performed under a canopy of flowers and evergreens in the drawing room. Only the relatives and a few of the nearerst friends were present. After the ceremony dainty refreshments were served in the dining room by a bevy of the bride's girl frieds and her cousin,Miss Mamie Cauthorn,of Corvallis. Miss Cauthorn wore a charming gown of cream point d'sepirit. At the table Mrs.Arthur H.d'Evers and Mrs. B.S.pague poured coffee,assisted by Miss Rose Goodman.The table had a color scheme of green and white,being a mass of magnolias,white sweet peas and smilax,and lighted with candles in antique silver and cut glass candlesticks. Miss Albina Page,assisted by Mrs.Henry C.Buckley,served the punch. The bride's gown was a Parisian costume of cream lace over ivory chiffon and taffetta,and she looke dvery chamring.Miss Purdy wore blue silk mull. Mr. and Mrs.Craig started on the steamer Columbia for San Fransisco,thence by another steamer to San Diego. Tehre they will visit the groom's parents for a few days beofre going to their new home at La Cananea,Mexico.
