All rights reserved. http://www.usgwarchives.net/copyright.htm http://www.usgwarchives.net/or/orfiles.htm ************************************************ File contributed for use in USGenWeb Archives by: Sheron Faynor nitwittwin@hotmail.com December 30, 2007, 5:49 pm Morning Oregonian November 13,1904 One of the prettiest weddings of the season took place on Thursday morning,October 27,at 9 o'clock,at the Sacred Heart Church,when Miss Mary Donohue became the bride of Mr.Thomas Neeson,both well known young people,the groom being a popular member of the male choir of the Holy Rosary Church.The bridal party entered the churh as the wedding march from "Lohengrin" was being played by Miss Brooks.Procedding to the altar,they were met by Gather Gregory,pastor of the church,whoperformed the ceremony.The bride looked charming in a gray gown of crepe de Paris over taffeta,with picture hat,and carried a shower bouquet of bride roses.Miss Katherine Kavanaugh,as bridesmaid,wore white with hat to match,and carried pink and white carnations.The groom's little niece,Katherine Murphy,carried the ring on a silver tray.Gerald Kavanaugh was best man.A wedding reception was held in the evening.After November 10 Mr.and Mrs.Neeson will be at home at 615 East Taggart street.
