Van Osdel officiating. The church was well filled,invitations having been sent to members of the four Baptist churches of the city. At 8:30 Lewis T.MIles began playing the Mendelssohn wedding march,while the bride and bridegroom ,unattended,marched down the aisle,preceded by Rev.Mr.Van Osdel.The ceremony was performed at the altar,the ring service being used,and promptly after the services at the church were over Mr. and Mrs. Hartman were driven to the train.They will make an extended tour of the Eastern states,and will be at home after October 1 at 603 East Alder street,Portland. The bride was elegantly gowned in pearl gray etamine over taffeta silk,and wore pearls and diamonds.
