Oregonian March 19,1839
On Tuesday evening,Mr.William C.Washburnbe,of Springield,Ore.,and Miss Julia 
Hamilton,daughter of Dr.S.Hamilton of Roseburg,were unbited in matrimony at 
the residence of the bride's parents,on High Hill,by the Rev. W.A.Smick,in th 
epresence of the immediate relatives of the bride and groom.Mr.and mrs. 
Washbrune are now traveling in California.Shortly after their retuern a 
reception will be given them by the father and mother of the bride in their 
elegant new home in Rosebuerg.
