Oregonian March 19,1839
The marriage of the Hon.W.D.Hare,of Hillsbprpr,and Miss mary M.Anthony,of this 
city,was celebrated Wedmesday at 5 o'clock at the residence of the bride's 
sister,Mrs.A.J.Hamilton,Rev.T.E.Clapp officiated.
The beautiful home of mr.and mrs.Hamilton was tastefully decorated with 
evergreeens and similixaThe bay winodw of the front parlor,before whcihc the 
bridal pair stood,was artistixally draped with festoons of smilax,while potted 
plants in many parts of the hous added to the beauty of the scene.The presents 
were costly and handsome,being mostly of solid silver,together with some 
choice pieces of bric and brac.One very unique gift was a whist table and 
chairs of polished oaks,from the club of which the bride had been a 
member.This was completed by a very handspopme porcelain card box in the 
design of the ace of clubs.

Hillsboro;Trillia Hare,Mr.and Mrs.L.M.Parrish,Mr.and Mrs.P.E.Gerould,Mr.and 
mrs.Bellinger,Mr.and Mrs. David Steele,Mr.and Mrs.J.S.Winchester,Mr and 
Mrs.L.W.King,Mr.and Mrs.J.J.Parker,Mr.and Mrs. E.A.Thuriwn,Mr.and Mrs. 
E.B.McFarland,Mr.and mrs.Ira Jones,Dr.and Mrs.George O.Jefferson,Mr.and mrs.
