Brown, was united in marriage to Mr. Vern Zahn. The ceremony was performed by Rev.C.M.Smythe underneath a large bell of sweet peas. The bride was dressed in white liberty silk and carried a bouquet of white carnations. The bride was given away by her uncle, Mr.H.Brown. The maid of honor was Miss Anna Phillips, who wore white net over silk and carried a bouquet of carnations. The best man was Mr. Zahn's brother, Mr.F.Zahn. Little Miss Verlie Brown, cousin of the bride, acted as ring bearer. She was dressed in blue. Miss Goldie Brown and Miss Inez Hickey were flower girls and carried sweet peas. The bridesmaids were Miss Bertha Rivers and Miss Lilly Zahn. After the service a reception was given at the home of the bride's parents, at 209 North Tenth street. Mr. and Mrs. Zahn left for Seaside, where they will remain for a few weeks. They will be at home at 549 Pettygrove street after August 15.
