Morning Oregonian October 23,1904
Miss Mary Anna Houk,daughter of Mrs. A,M.Huk,was united in marriage to James 
Walter Shearer on Tuesday,Rev.W.S.Gilbert of Cavalry Presbyterian 
Church,officiating. The west parlor of Mrs.Houk's home,where the ceremony took 
place was made exceedingly pretty with roses,ferns and Autumn foliage. the 
bride looked very attractive in white crepe de chine over taffeta and carried 
an arm bouquet of beautiful white chrysanthemums. The groom formerly resided 
in Charleston,W.Va., and the bride formerly lived in Albany,where she ahs many 
friends.
