All rights reserved. http://www.usgwarchives.net/copyright.htm http://www.usgwarchives.net/or/orfiles.htm ************************************************ File contributed for use in USGenWeb Archives by: Sheron Faynor nitwittwin@hotmail.com August 23, 2006, 8:14 pm Clackams County News January 27,1921 Former Local boy is married to Portland girl Miss Iness Lorena Knox and Andrew Woodford Gribble,both of Portland,were married at the home of the brides aunt,Mrs William Morand at Boring,Oregon,last Saturday evening ,January 18,at 8 p.m..The ceremony was quite an elaborate affiar.The bride was dressed in a beautiful blue satin gown and carried a large bouquet of white roses.The groom wore a dark tailor made suit.The couple were attended by Mrs Trueman Riche,bridesmaid,and Estes Gribble,best man.The wedding was attended by many relatives of the couple,and after a ceremony a large wedding dinner was served. The bride is the granddaughter of Mrs James M Roots,who announced the wedding,and the groom is the son of Mr and Mrs A.D Gribble of the Macksberg district,and is well known among the Canby people.The couple are to make thier future home in Portland where Mr Gribble has partnership in a garage with his brother,Alan.The Gribble boys were both overseas,the groom bring in the aviation corps.
