Morning Oregonian October 23,1904
Garfield,Wash.,Oct.20-A charming wedding was solemnized at Gifford,Idaho,on 
October 19,when two of Garfield's most popular youn gpeople were united in 
matrimony in the preence of the relatives and a few intimate friends. The 
pretty bride was Miss Jospehine Orr and the bridegroom was Thaddeus A.Stivers. 
The ceremony was performed by Elder George F.Stivers,father of the bridegroom. 
After the ceremony,a wedding supper was served. The bride is the daughter of 
Mr. and Mrs.T.F.orr,and is a favorite in Garfield,where she resided before 
recently moving with her parents to Idaho. Mr.Stivers has grown to manhood in 
Garfield and has a host of friends in Eastern Washington. The happy couple 
left on a wedding trip last night,and will be at home to their friends in 
Garfield November 1.
