Oregonian April 9,1893
The marriage of Mr.C.A.Bryant and Mrs. B.A.Pettyjohn was solemized by 
Rev.Eaton Clapp last Sunday evening,in the presence of the relatives and 
immediate friends of the contracting parties.After the ceremony a reception 
was tendered at the home of the newly wedded couple,272 Stark street,Among 
those present were:Mr.and mrs.Anderson,Mr.and Mrs.Lindsey,of 
Seattle;Mrs.J.C.thomas,Miss Nellie Thomas,Mr.and Mrs.Robinson,W.E.Burt,Low 
G.Robertson,G.W.Hutchings,of Seattle;and Frank Anderson.
The presents were numerous and attractive.
