Morning Oregonian September 25,1904
On Wednesday evening,September 14,at 8 o'clock,at the Church of the Good 
Shepherd, Miss Bertha M. Rutherford was united in marriage to Mr. Augustus 
Riems,Rev.Mr.Dawson officiating.The bride wore a beautiful brown tailor 
gown,.She was attended by Miss Minnie Phillips,and Mr.Victor 
H.Daigleish,brother of the bride, was groomsman.The wedding march was played 
by Mrs.J.F.Logan.A solo by Master Thomas Dobson was a feature of the 
ceremony.After the ceremony the friends of the family repaired to 548 Rodney 
avenue,the home of Mrs. A.E.Daigleish,where the wedding supper was served.The 
dining room was tastefully decorated in pink and white,and the reception room 
in Autumn leaves and orange. Mr. and Mrs. Riems will be at home after October 
1 at 508 Stephens street.
